  1. Would it be useful if everyone completed Stephen's grid, at foot of paper, as a preliminary indication of what they thought?

I would find it helpful to have some explanation about whether extensive mixing facilities are essential, if we wish to offer the building as a venue for professional performance with the option of streaming a live feed. I think mixing involves lots of microphones and cables which would be intrusive and maybe counter to the stated aim of flexibility.

Perhaps some comments about the interdependancy of the points as well. After all, I guess we could stream a feed to the internet with only a simple mono pick-up, if the feed was thought essential?

Does Tim see a flexible stage as a place for the choir to sing from during worship, or for its potential for concerts and other events?

Isn't a networked church offer more than easier presentations? - it would allow a virtual mixing desk wouldn't it? and aisle screens with a live feed of action at the high altar, even choir screens to show the 'children's talk'? and flexible microphones? Maybe more details of what a wireless network would deliver would be helpful.
